Economic Development

KBR Rural Public Power District is a different kind of electric utility.  KBR is a not-for-profit public utility that serves consumers throughout the vast rural area known as the Nebraska sandhills.

KBR will help to provide you the various business opportunities supported by the quality of life afforded in our beautiful area.  A skilled and dedicated work force and a positive attitude on the part of community leaders is an assurance for your prospective, successful business in Brown, Rock, Keya Paha or Cherry County, Nebraska.

KBR’s management staff and personnel are available to any prospective business as they work through the details of determining their proposed energy use requirements.  If power quality is an issue or maximizing the energy efficiency of your operation is a concern, KBR will do whatever is necessary to satisfy your concerns.

The advantages of dealing with a local utility have become very apparent to new or existing businesses that wish to expand.  With our main office in Ainsworth and local outposts located in Springview and Valentine, KBR has a very positive presence throughout its four county service area.  What this means is faster response and more personalized service.
